tangled up in BLUE....Ran into something today kinda interested me....a Prowler owned by Alice Cooper is for sale....'02 Kandi red....whats the celebrity status worth....anything extra ???....the car has only 3,500 miles and is supposed to be perfect....sold my driver 01 orange a while back and sold one of my SRT Vipers today...need a toy fix !!! ................IDEAS PLEASE....................
CatwomanKinda interesting.....he lives here in Phoenix and he was out at the Pavilions one Saturday night, last year. Came up and was talking to me about the prowler, asking how I liked it, how long I had owned it, etc. I don't think he owned one at the time - he didn't indicate it and I don't recall him bringing it out to the car show.

I'm not sure a prowler belonging to a celebrity is worth any more or less than any other used prowler at this point. But I'm not usually in tune with these sorts of things either, lol.

Anyway, my two cents.

Neal & Mary Ann BardensWhat is it worth? That is a good question. I have seen many celebrity items go for outrageous prices, for no reason at all. that is going to be tough call.

Bcoffman Gray GhostIt certainly shouldn't be worth any less. I say go for it. You know you're ready for another one anyway.

idiveI have worked with a Buck Rogers, Dan L. Boone, Tom Bosley, and several others of such notariotous names. I noticed this car was owned by a Mr. Alice Cooper but not much elaboration was made on that. I would think he would have hyped that point a little more if it was THE Alice Cooper. I'm not saying its not him, just providing food for thought. If you want to compare celebrity value, look at Elvis' cars, or at Liberace's cars. Even Tom Selick's car from his TV series sold for more than face value. Its all what someone is willing to pay, but you would have to have some proof of their ownership. If you want it, go for it! It'll make for a nice story behind it.

tangled up in BLUEIt is legit....the salesperson is a personal friend of AC, and is more than willing to have him sign autographs and take photos with the new owners...thought it might be a curiousity...
CTProwlerIts worth more if your a Fan, and liked to own his Kat

ed monahanJust out of curiosity, how many Prowler owners that read this are Alice Cooper fans?
I am not, but that is no indication of his popularity.
I would say Elvis was a little bigger star than Alice. What do you guys think?
I would think it could draw more $ but you would have to find someone that was a rabid fan. Bruce Springsteen would be much more of a universal draw, I would think.
Koastal CatWonder want this Kat would be worth:

Look's like everyone is having fun. Plus, makes for a good story.

Black Tie 161LOL idive...sounds like the Seinfeld episode where George Costanza bought John Voight's old car and found out it was a dentist of the same name....
ALLEY CATEd - I'm not a Alice Cooper music fan, but having said that I will say that Alice lives in the metro PHX area and is very approachable here in public. He donates lots of his time and money to charities here. Is really well liked by the community.
Ken Carter"OH MY GOD" it's my wife on a date with "Burt Reynolds" in one of "MY PROWLERS". Oh well.

CTProwlerBurt looks like **** . I saw him in a Airport last year and he looks like he had more surgery then Dick Clark!!!Burt your old, your done, finished,. Any more make up and you'll look like Micheal Jackson

Prowler HollerTangled, I like the potential with it. ACooper would make that car more interesting, especially in AZ if not CA. He must have an ongoing relationship with that exoticar company as I see they sold his Testarossa if you click on the link. With CApple being the last 300 made and the attraction of that color by us car nuts anyway, I think it starts out of the gate about as valuable as the woodward and black ties. Getting him to autograph the owners manual and back of the original window sticker along with a couple of pictures by the car, puts credibility in it. Nobody put initial bid on it at $35K and down to a few days left. Some CP dealers still listing the CApple on new MSO and they wanting close to sticker so you might be well under that with 2 years warranty left. That with being an AZ car too, probably flawless. Fact is, with catwoman's note above, she may have got him interested to buy it new after that discussion! The only hitch here is if that exotic car dealer thinks AC owning it a big perk and has priced it accordingly..... He may not be Elvis, but he is a rock and roll hall of famer and claims to be the founder of the concept of making a concert a "show"... "Schools Out" and "Eighteen" made him well known. Good luck if ya go for it!
idiveTo hell with the owners manual and the window sticker... well, those would be nice, but, pop the hood and give him a gold indellible marker and photograph him signing it. I only saw Alice Cooper once in concert, and that was many years ago back when I was in high school. It was an all day concert outside in beautiful weather with LOTS of groups attending and was probably the best concert I have been to. After I graduated, the first song I put on the stereo was "School's Out". My sister always liked it when I played "Welcome To My Nightmare".

Top KatI agree with some of the others. The Star Status is only good for a fan who would be in a position to buy the car. I think the Celebrity owner status is greater for Celebrity Car Guy ownership, such as Steve McQueen, Don Johnson, Regie Jackson, Jay Leno, Tim Allen, Paul Newman, just to mention a few. This type owner would probably bring more money to the table than Alice Cooper. Just my opinion. If the car is reasonably priced, then you have nothing to loose. If some one is trying to sell you on the Celebrity Status of the car to increase the price--- I would hesitate.
